More effective than Bleach
Safe and non-toxic: HOCl is a naturally occurring substance in the human body, making it safe for use around people, pets, and plants.
Broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity: HOCl effectively kills a wide range of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores.
Fast-acting: Hypochlorous acid works quickly to disinfect surfaces and objects, with some studies showing disinfection within 30 seconds.
Non-irritating and gentle: Unlike harsh chemical cleaners, HOCl does not cause skin or eye irritation and is suitable for use on sensitive surfaces.
Eco-friendly: Hypochlorous acid breaks down into water and salt, making it an environmentally friendly cleaning option.
No Residue: HOCl evaporates quickly and does not leave a residue on surfaces, eliminating the need for rinsing.
Toxic and corrosive: Many chemical cleaners are hazardous and cause skin, eye, and respiratory irritation, making them unsuitable for use around children and pets.
Limited antimicrobial activity: The effectiveness of chemical cleaners may vary depending on the specific product and the types of pathogens they target.
Longer contact time: Some chemical disinfectants require a longer contact time to be effective, which can increase the time and effort required for cleaning tasks.
Surface damage: Harsh chemical cleaners can cause damage to certain surfaces, such as discoloration or degradation.
Environmental concerns: Chemical cleaners have a negative impact on the environment due to their composition and persistence in ecosystems.
Residue: Many chemical cleaners leave residue on surfaces, requiring additional rinsing or wiping.
What maintenance is required for the Echo Clean™?
Because the Echo Clean™ produces powerful natural cleaners, it requires minimal maintenance. There’s no need to sanitize your Echo Clean™ since it does that with each cycle, but you can use a solution of water and vinegar to remove any buildup that may occur over time.
When should I not use the Echo Clean™ ?
Because the Echo Clean™ creates both hypochlorous acid and sodium hypochlorite (when used with salt), we recommend that you do not use the solution on your skin or food when you use salt.
