Everything You Need to Know About the Echo Go™

Go Further with the Echo Go & Echo Go Plus

Echo makes accessing hydrogen-enriched water in your home simple with products like the Hydrogen Water Pitcher and the Ultimate Hydrogen Water Machine. But what about when you’re not at home? Can you drink hydrogen water when you’re on the go?

That’s where the Echo Go+ comes in.

The Echo Go+ is the premier hydrogen water bottle for busy people. Whether you’re running errands, on a trip, or at the gym, the Echo Go+ is the perfect way to make hydrogen-enriched water part of your daily routine no matter where you are.

But the Echo Go+ isn’t the only hydrogen water bottle from Echo. You can also try the Echo Go, which is very similar to the Echo Go+. They are both made from food-grade polycarbonate plastic and are BPA-free products. This specialized type of plastic is much lighter than glass and impact resistant, so both water bottles are durable and kind to the environment.

While both the Echo Go and Echo Go+ provide more than the therapeutic level of 0.5 parts per million (PPM) of molecular hydrogen, the water bottles differ in the amount of hydrogen they produce.

Here’s a table to quickly show the differences between Echo’s hydrogen water bottles:

While these water bottles are very similar, the Echo Go+ allows you to intake more PPM of molecular hydrogen without having to regularly clean your water bottle (once a month vs once a week). The Echo Go+ uses more advanced technology, which eliminates the need for a cleaning cycle. It is able to self-clean because every time you turn on the machine, the polarity of the electrodes is reversed, making it impossible for calcium to build up.  If you're plastic bottle is getting a little grungy due to lots of post-workout sips, simply fill the bottle 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water, let it sit for 4 hours, then rinse and use as usual! You can also use regular dish soap to wash the water container (ONLY - please do NOT wash the lid or the generator!)

Both water bottles also come with a rechargeable lithium ion battery. But unlike the Echo Go, you are able to use the Echo Go+ while it charges.

The Echo Go and the Echo Go+ are both great ways to get your daily intake of hydrogen-enriched water. But the Echo Go+ uses the next generation of technology and efficiency to make your healthy lifestyle even easier.

How to use the Echo Go+

Using the Echo Go+ could not be simpler. All you do is:

  1. Fill your water bottle. You can use filtered water from your filtered tap, distilled, or bottled water.
  2. Screw on the cap.
  3. Choose your cycle. To run the 5-minute cycle, press the power button once. To run the 10-minute cycle, press the power button twice.
  4. Drink.

How to Clean the Echo Go+

Let's face it - not all filtered water is created equal. If there are residual minerals in your water, the generator may need to be descaled once a month. This process is extremely easy.

  1. Put 1-2 tablespoons of vinegar in your Go+. You can use regular white vinegar that you have on-hand. Cleaning vinegar works as well as provides a powerful clean.
  2. Fill halfway with water. Mix distilled or filtered tap water with the vinegar until the bottle is half full (or half empty, depending on your mood).
  3. Let it sit. For 4-8 hours or overnight. You can run it 1 -2 times to make sure the plates are cleared of any scales.
  4. Rinse the container. Do NOT get the generator wet! Empty the bottle, fully assembled, and then rinse with clean water. It is now ready to use!

The benefits of hydrogen-enriched water

We’ve talked a lot about the features of the Echo hydrogen water bottles and the technology that produces high PPM of molecular hydrogen. But we haven’t talked about why you should be drinking hydrogen water. Here are just some of the benefits of drinking hydrogen-enriched water:

Helps reduce oxidative stress and inflammation

Hydrogen functions as an antioxidant. So, molecular hydrogen has the ability to neutralize harmful free radicals, which contribute to chronic inflammation.

Improves gut health

When you drink water that has had hydrogen added to it, you are feeding your gut bacteria and changing the flora of your gut. Hydrogen makes your gut more hospitable to the bacteria that reduce inflammation, interrupt free radical oxidation, and possibly bolster the immune system.

Helps brain function

Molecular hydrogen has been shown to help your brain function at normal levels, instead of being overworked. This is especially true for people who suffer from ADHD and other neurological disorders.

Increases energy

Those who drink hydrogen-enriched water state that they experience an increase in energy. Studies also suggest that hydrogen may support mitochondrial function and enhance energy production.

Lowers athletic fatigue

A study on elite athletes showed that when the athletes drank hydrogen-enriched water before a workout, they had no lactate buildup in their muscles, no exercise induced muscle decline, and their recovery times were much lower.

Improves sleep

Things like oxidative stress and inflammation can interrupt sleep patterns. But drinking hydrogen-enriched water may help reduce oxidative stress and inflammation, thereby improving your sleep.

 Ensures faster recovery

Some studies suggest molecular hydrogen can help reduce muscle fatigue after exercise, which can contribute to a faster recovery and an increase in energy.

The Echo Go+ is specifically designed for people who want to improve their health while going about their busy lives. There’s no reason why healthy living should be confined to your home. So, grab your Echo Go+, and start enjoying the benefits of hydrogen-enriched water no matter where you are.
